My 1st post to say hello

Hi and thanks for accepting me. I currently have a Sony Alpha A7R IV and two lenses a Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS and a Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM. Wildlife is my preferred subject especially birds, I live on the east London/Essex border and am lucky enough to have a number of sites to visit as well as my garden of course. I also like macro photography and I'm looking to purchase a new or near mint second-hand lens any advise/suggestions welcome . Any image I post in the future I am happy for constructive criticism (CC). I have attached an image if that is allowed! of a Dark edged bee fly taken this week with a 600mm lens! I still would like a dedicated macro lens though.

Welcome Alan and thank you for joining up here and introducing yourself. The 200-600 is a pretty nice lens for grabbing shots of more flighty bugs and insects but if you want a dedicated macro then the Sony FE 90mm F2.8 G lens is definitely worth taking a closer look at.
