Wildlife
Sony 100-400GM, 200-600G, 400-800G
Sigma 150-600 Sport
Generally speaking the longer the better. If you are going to basically go for just the mammals the Sigma might be the best options since it will be the most versatile.

Landscape
There are so many good options in this the question really is how wide do you want to go. I personally find the Sony 24-105G a near perfect travel lens.

Astro
Honestly if you haven't been trying to do this or watching lots of videos about this already you are not going to be ready for a trip next month. Astro is more difficult than it seems it might be.

I’ll probably get a landscape and Astro for this trip then pick up wildlife in the fall.


I’m sure it’s going to take time to learn Astro and fit a while I’ll stink at it but over time I will improve.

I was planning 10 days of extensive hiking but a car ran me over and broke leg/back and otter damage so my hiking be limited so I’ll be die ding lots of time with the camera

So getting great lens and spending the time to learn how to use them will be fun !

I love taking Astro but with background of mountains. I like the sun set and sun rise.

Can a lens do both Astro and landscape or is better to get 2 different.

I have a Sigma 16-28 f2.8 which I have found to be a great little lens. It gets great reviews too. It's pretty good for Astro for what I have used it for so far which is mainly Milky Way shots. To be honest, if you will mainly be taking Milky Way shots then taking the photos is relatively easy, especially if you have an interesting foreground. The hard part is the post processing to get a good image at the end. If you don't want a zoom, as you already have 20mm at the wide end of your standard zoom then the Viltrox 16mm f1.8 is worth a look. A lot of people are using it for astronomy. I'm thinking of getting one if I get more into astrophotography.

BTW, I have an A7R5, same sensor and stuff as your A7CR but bigger body. As a tele zoom I have a Tamron 50-400 zoom. It's a great lens. I'm really happy with it but I'm not heavily into wildlife. In saying that, it has worked perfectly well for me when doing some bird shots on occasion and it has a pretty good macro capability.

I hope you are on the mend from your accident and you are able to get around easily enough for your trip to Yosemite.

You definitely need a majestically wide angle. If money is an issue, try the Sony 16 - 28 f2.8. That is a good range to cover what you'll need plus it is a macro. I am able to use mine with both stills and video.
