Birds Pelican coming in for a landing

Got a shot of this Pelican while on my afternoon walk along the river.

I really can't get over how different that your Pelican looks to the ones we have here in Australia.
But this is good as it is good to see a different look. Very well done.

Yes, I've noticed that too. I am not sure about the ones in Australia, but during breeding season, they develop that bump on their upper beak.

That would be interesting to see them like that.
The ones we have here when in breeding season get a blue/purplish long band on their beak pouch.
