Does this guy pay taxes?
He probably should, but I'll let him live tax free, just for the fact that I love finding them by our porch.
 
You are braver than I. I find them too scary to be picking up. I only see pictures of them. I have not seen one in years.
 
Last year we had a smaller one living in the grass. This guy is crazy large.
I love all creatures like this. Nice shots btw,. I'll be getting the Macro on some of our smaller critters when it arrives. Sadly we don't get Mantis, though my cats would probably kill them.

I grew up handling them......They are pretty docile towards humans.

Good thing, too, or you would'a been et up when you were just a tad.
