A wonderful sunny spring day in Greenwich Royal Park.

Slightly edited version - I think this is a little better.

Lovely picture.

It reminds me that I haven't had a picnic under a tree in ages. I need to add that to my list of things to do this summer!

A truly magnificent tree, I almost missed your Subject since I'm viewing on a phone screen right now. How about a portrait-oriented crop to zoom in on your reader, while keeping the natural framing of the branch "above" her?

Thanks Chris, sounds like a good idea. I’m currently out on the park again on a glorious day, so the park is full of people (unfortunately). I’ll try that when I’m back home.

Many thanks Craig. You should have been in the park today, you could hardly move for people soaking up the sun and having picnics.

I tried to do what I mentioned, but I may have been completely wrong. I guess I was thinking that if I were taking the photo I would have zoomed in closer on the reader, as my subject, using the branch to frame her. Of course, unless you have an A7R5 to work with, there is a limit to reframing the original.

I also like your latest crop, perhaps my mistake was thinking that the reader was the subject, when it is the tree.

I like the tree. Have you thought about taking the person in RED out?

Thanks David. It did cross my mind, but I thought he added a bit of interest to that part of the photograph.

Thanks Chris, I do like your crop, shows more of the foliage and less of the trunk. I also like the portrait framing.

An edited image - with the red guy removed (thanks David) and a portrait crop (thanks Chris). While the A7iv only has 33 MP and the A7Rv 61 MP, I think the tighter crop works fine on the A7iv.

Edit with red guy on the far left removed from image.
