Sony are running a competition in Australia and New Zealand:

The Alpha Awards Photo Competition

I thought I might enter. I need your help. What photo that is in my gallery do you think I should enter?

I'm partial to _7RV0076_Carrickalinga_Sunset.jpg I only wish a wider lens was used, because the colors and conditions were so nice I wanted to see more.

Apart from the sunset landscape that Chris mentioned, I like the rainbow lorikeet, the Kimbo Silo Art and the trees in Auckland. Also the Gondoliers, but I guess the picture for the competition is supposed to be taken in Australia.

Thanks for your replies and suggestions. I really appreciate it. I like the Carrickalinga one but any wider would have just shown more sea on the right and houses on the left.

The Gondoliers wouldn't qualify as that was taken with a Pentax ME Super on Ilford XP1 400 film in 1985. I just scanned it recently. But I reckon it's one of the best photos I have ever taken. I really need to print it now.
