is tamron 70 180 f 2.8 with Sony A 7 3 is a good combination

I purchased one for my A7riii and love the lens for what i do. I tried the 28-200mm but never really go on with it. The 70-180mm is relatively light and compact very nice image quality I pair it with the 2 SIgmas to go from 16 - 180. I generally shoot nature style shots. Depends what your looking for.
