Telephoto Compression Experiment — Curious What You Notice

Tried something a little different with this scene early this morning.The long focal length really changed how the distance and layers came together, and the result felt quite different from what it looked like on location.

Since the EXIF is visible, you’ll see the focal length and settings — but I’m especially interested in how the image reads to you.

A few things I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

• How does the distance feel compared to what the EXIF suggests
• Does the compression change your sense of scale or depth
• What grabs your eye first in the frame
• If you were editing this, would you handle the foliage or colour differently
