I saw the report of the recall of Sony Tough CFexpress type A cards, and checked all my cards - fortunately all of mine are from earlier lots than the affected ones.
I thought it was interesting that they specified two ranges of numbers, for eight digit lot numbers and 9 digit lot numbers, but the nine digit range is identical, except for a zero on the end. I wonder if they have two plants, and one adds a zero on the end?
All my cards have eight digit lot numbers. I bought two at once and I think that’s how I got two with the same lot number.
