What if you got it all?

I never thought it would happen to me.
Today, when I see an interesting novel lens I could acquire, I take a deep look in my Pelican cases and my shelves.
I wanted a wideangle zoom and I forgot I had already bought a 12-24mm G on my last trip to Helsinki.
I was pondering about the 70-200 mm f/4 but I already have a Tamron 70-180mm F/2.8.
I found a forgotten 90mm macro G in my Pelican bag.
I have all the Sony lenses I need! No need to buy more.

The solution I found to satisfy my hunger for photo equipment was to get a Nikon F3 and a Leika M6,
Now I can keep on buying stuff with no rational limitations.
An Olympus OM-3 Titanium would be nice also...

It is a disease. I am addicted to optical gear!

It's a fairly universal condition. I no longer do a lot of cycling, but when I was younger I was on a number of cycling forums. The universally accepted view there was that "N=n+1" Where N was the number of bikes "needed"(wanted), and n was the number owned. It's the same for any sport or hobby there is always extra bit of gear that we end up wanting. My wife is the same with her equestrian gear. The biggest issue is convincing the bank to fund it all
