Nice shots. Pretty sure your red bellied is a male, the female is gray on top of her head with red on the back of the head and neck..

I've been sick and not able to get out, although I keep the feeders full. I haven't seen the red bellied since the day I was testing the Minolta 100-400, just the downies and passerine birds. Would love to catch it with the 200-600.

Right now I'm on an Alka-Selter high. Best stuff in the world, puts Dayquil/Nyquil to shame!

Worked half a day then came home. I think I'll come home early tomorrow too, the forecast is for sun in the afternoon and upper 30'sF. If I'm feeling ok I may try to catch some bird shots, if not I'll try to catch some Z's!
