Using Sony A7rV - using two bodies and writing to SD cards; I have found that the same generic image file numbers are on both cameras cards. What is the setting to ensure that I never get duplicate image numbers across both cameras?

That's what I do -- I change the three characters of the file name in each of my cameras so that when later I'm looking at image files it's easy to tell which came from which camera if I were out shooting with two of them on the same day in the same location. Most of the time it doesn't really matter that much but those situations where I have shot with two cameras it is good to have separate file names. Of course eventually when I edit the images I give them a more meaningful name anyway, since A1C xxxxx or A7Rxxxxxx aren't as meaningful as "Pond on a Foggy Morning" or "Early Magnolia Buds".

I make a unique prefix for each camera body
