Hi! so this is the message I get when trying to open a raw file from then r Iv? Any help would be muchly appreciated! Thanks

Any details/specifics you can furnish in your OP can help us offer better suggestions more quickly w/o re-posting Q&As back and forth. It also helps if you tell us what you have already tried yourself.

ie.: What version of PS? Windows 10? Using Mac or PC? Is Raw file compressed, uncompressed, decompressed, repressed, depressed, suppressed, confessed – what type?

Your posted "error msg" got cut off.... what did say?.... "Make sure....What?
Did you try going to: adobe.com/go/kb407111 website? What happened?

Have you installed PS Camera Raw version 13.3? (for a7R iv cams)

Welcome and thanks for joining up! You'll need the following minimum versions to work with the a7R IV raw files:

Lightroom CC: v2.4.1 or higher
Lightroom Classic: v8.4.1 or higher
Adobe Camera Raw: v11.4.1 or higher
