I told my wife I wanted to take one last sunset shot of the year, and as she rolled her eyes I packed up and headed out to the Everglades park nearest my house. I remembered my tripod this time, but not my filters, so no long exposure as originally planned. As you can see from the first shot, I was on an elevated walkway which offers a nice enough view over the glades and western sky. The clouds started dissipating as the sun set, so I didn't get the pink cotton-candy I wanted, but good enough.
