So for the last 9 years I have been creating calendars for family and friends. For 8 of those years I have used Amazon's print services and 1 time with Snapfish. The one time using Snapfish I did so because I had a coupon that made the per calendar cost a little less than the Amazon cost and when you are getting 20 calendars a year and mailing out like 10 saving a couple dollars on printing is nice. The quality of the Snapfish was surprisingly worse than that of the Amazon, the layout was accurate to the design but all the images seemed kind of washed out. The last two years I have not been overly pleased with the quality of the Amazon prints, the colors look fine but the layouts don't match 100% and there have been some general printing errors (which I have been fully refunded for plus reprinted).
So this year I started looking at other places to get my calendars. WTF has happened with calendar pricing?!?!?
Mpix - starting at $30
Printique - Square shapes only usable size starts at $26
Snapfish - starting at $28
Bayphoto - starting at $25
Shutterfly - starting at $35
Shutterfly through linked Amazon account - starting $34
Amazon Print services - $15
Since I didn't win the lotto this year I guess I'll be using Amazon again.
