When you mentioned squirrel, I thought of this one immediately. Would not move, I thought it's foot was somehow stuck. I think it was not going to let go of the nut.

I'm not sure how it gets inside, but it seems right at home in there. The feeder is about two metres off the ground.

One from the weekend squirrel and his best mate, as you can see focus was not set for the 2 of them to be in the frame together it just happened, focus was on the rabbit, shot from road bridge above railway siding

Squirrels: the Super Models of 2024. I wonder when one will make it to the front cover of Vogue!

This was the very first shot I took with my camera and lens when I got them last month. It was 8 degrees F outside, so I just stepped out front and snapped a few. The Eastern Grey Squirrel was enjoying the seeds from my feeder. I was amazed at the detail! I deleted the file, so this is from FB.

I think I misunderstood the assignment of "Squirrel shots"

Explanation: Its coming up to mango season, so I've been working on scaring off the squirrels (with non lethal force), rather than photographing them 😅

Our Indian squirrels are like that, and I'm told that they are not at all related to chipmunks!

(There are also huge things, but they don't live anywhere near me and I've never got a pic. Malabar Squirrel.)
Those are incredible and what an amazing tail on them!!! I've never heard of these before, so thank you for bringing them up!
