Viewing Sony A1ii .arw files on my PC

When I use WINDOWS PHOTO to view .arw files produced by the SONY A1ii, a green boarder appears along one edge. The jpg files are fine. Also, I can view .arw files prodcued by the SONY A7iv. Any ideas what the problem is? Photos open fine in LIGHTROOM. I guess it is something to do with the CODEC, but surely WINDOWS has a suitable CODEC by now for the SONY A1ii?

All I can add to this is I'm using RAW Lossless Comp (L).

I was using the medium version.

try the L version and let us know what happens

I've tried the L version and I no longer get the green boarder around the edge. That is weird as you would think if it works for one of the file sizes, it should work for all of them.
