Ive just bought a Terra-master 4 bay unit, with WD Red drives thats what I store my Raw files on if thats any help

I transfer my RAW files to a 2TB external SSD, and process them there. Then transfer them off to a NAS and back them up to an external magnetic.

Either Samsung T7 or SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD will do the job nicely.

I second the Sandisk Extreme Pro v2, drop and water resistant. I use 2x 2TB as my travel backups and a 4TB as a working drive. My laptop only has a 1TB drive and I get around 500Gb of images a 2 week trip and my trips are 4 or 6 weeks. The speed test for the drives is 1024Mbps real world image transfers on my laptop I get 650Mbps.
