Weddings Curious about lenses

70-200/2.8 has been my primary
16-35/2.8 is indispensable for groups and environment shots
85mm or 50mm 1.4 for specialty shots

Hey all, what are your favorite native lenses for weddings?

Thanks!
Ian

You're welcome!

I have only done a few weddings with my Sony gear after switching from Canon. I used 2 bodies, an A7r4 and A6500. I carried a 16-35mm F4, 85mm f1.8, 55mm f1.8, a 24-240mm and the 100-400mm. The 55mm gets me 55mm on the full frame and about 85mm on the APS-C while the 85mm gives me 85mm FF and about 135mm on APS-C. The 24-240mm and 100-400mm are kinda slow but have worked well in well lit venues as I moved from back to front during the ceremony.

Do you have any examples of wedding photos you took with the 100-400 lens? Thanks

I'll have to try to find more...most were taken with the Canon. Here's one.
