I got stuck in and did a lot a couple of weeks ago once I sorted out how I was going to sort it all and what scanner set up I was going to use but this last week I have been looking at it all, picking some favourites and editing/printing them. I really need to get back into the actual scanning...

With a point and shoot, I pointed and shot. And got reasonably lucky.

And, I guess, it launched my current hobby (unpaid career!) of photographing carnatic (South-Indian classical) music concerts, leading to an a6000, then an a6500, now an a7iv. And a bag full of lenses and stuff.

Later I was able to give a framed print to the senior lady vocalist. Proud to say that it hangs on her wall.

It’s what’s in the bag that counts. What you are doing is very nice.
