Well, that was disappointing. Lions owned the 49ers in the first half, then they fell apart. 30 minutes away from a Superbowl appearance. Plenty of blame to go around, but there were two coaching decisions made that cost them the game. When faced with the option of kicking a field goal for 3 points or going for the first down, the coach decided to go for it. If both had been made, Lions win. If one had been made, game goes to overtime for a fresh start. The coach has gone for it more times than not this season, many of them successful, but I would think after the loss to the Cowboys in the regular season he would've figured it out. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

I see what you mean. In '91 there was no wild card round, hence the added win.

For our non-US member. It is like Rugby but where the viewer enjoys the commercial which interrupts the game ever 30 seconds more than the game itself. If I think about it, it is a 3-4 hour informercial that is interrupted ever 2 minutes with some short sport action.
