I have just switched to a Sony A9 from a long association with my Nikon D500. It's always daunting get used to the menu, ergonomics and best settings for a new camera system, but I hope to learn with the help of this forum.

Welcome! we've a few A9 owners here, though most are in the A7 camp. You'll get used to the menus, as long as you aren't switching between cameras often, you'll get used to it.

Welcome to the forum David and thank you for joining up. If you do have any questions on your new a9 please don't hesitate to ask. I know the menus and setup can definitely be a little confusing when you are moving from another camera system.
