  1. Yes
It was the first clear day in more than a week. When I opened this in Capture One, I thought, "No one would believe this wasn't a composite." It's not.
The twin mountain peaks at the top centre of each photo are known as The Lions and are 50 kilometres away. The buildings are about 21 kilometres away.

That's some serious tele! And now the B.C. Lions moniker makes more sense to me :)

What a great and interesting way to present these images.
I looks to me like the mountains are ready to come down and crush the city below.
I just find this so interesting in how you have manage to get this to look this way.

The 1st should be a shot blown up and put into any and all comps as it is a clear winner in my eyes.
You have got yourself some top shelf shot and I would be so proud of them if these were mine.
Great job.

Nice shots ST

We had a couple of hours respite from the rain yesterday, so I revisited this spot. The light was deep blue.

Since clear days are a novelty at this time of year, I took over 40 photos like this (among many others) over a couple of hours. The clouds high overhead cast shadows and changed the light in interesting ways. Here are a few.

Do you have any preferences among the three?

The last one for me, but you have yet to top the first image in this thread. The separation in the layers in that image is fantastic. The city looks as if it was superimposed or inserted, almost surreal.

I think the third one is the most dramatic but the layers brought out in the second are excellent I agree with Tim that it looks almost superimposed. I can't decide on a favourite.

Great shots, all of them.
