Sony A7R IV Trouble with back button focus on my FE 2.8/70-200 GM SSII lens

Hi there. I've double checked that I've set my back button focus correctly on my a7R IV and it seems to be working well with all of my lens, except the FE 2.8/70-200 GM. After several frames I'll notice that the lens is no longer focusing properly, and I have to turn the camera off and on again to reset it. Anyone else had this problem?

Assuming you have

FE 70–200 mm F2.8 GM OSS II​

If you haven't already done it, try updating the firmware on the lens.
