Sony A7R V A7RV and manual lenses on adapters

I have a huge number of older manual lenses that I have adapters for the E cameras for. I used them a lot for a while and wanted to go back to doing that but the A7RV is causing me difficulties in terms of settings. In particular it constantly says that function in not available with this lens. So my main question is I have not been able to find in the menu how to log in specific manual lens but more importantly I am unable to dedicate a button on the cameras to magnify the image when focusing critically with these adapted lenses. This may be covered elsewhere but my searching the forums has not helped me find the answers. Thank you for any help offered. I am new to this forum and hopefully can utilize the resources better as I become acquainted with it.

This is on my A1. Look for SteadyShot Adjust switch to Manual. Then find Focal Lrngth. Dial in length of lens.

Thank you Phil Vetra, that might take care of the focal length although it’s not as nice as former cameras where you could put in all the lens data so I assume you must do that with each lens when you change the lens. I also found that the AEL key is the default focus magnification key but was wondering how to change the key in the <custom kdy> menu as I don’t see focus magnification as one of the choices, but I obviously am doing something incorrectly.

I shot these adapted lenses a lot with my original A7 and some but less so with the A7RII but the settings in the A7RV are quite different so if somone out there who shoot a number of manual adapted lenses (I mostly use the Zeiss lenses for the Contax G series which I find give lovely images) could advise me on their settings to use these lenses so I can begin to use one of my custom menu settings properly with my ownmodifications if nexessary. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Richard, I knew you could do that but was unable to find focus magnifier in the custom key selection menu, but finally figured out with some time spent. I have to admit, it is wonderful to have so much control and ability to customize the Sony cameras but their menu system is not the most user friendly. I will use what I have found to set this up as one of my custom system settings. Thanks again. What a nice resource this is.
