Hi to all, bought my sony alpha one month ago before going to Namibia and wished I had bought it before Antarctica, but better late than never
I am an passionate traveler, so my photo are mainly landscape, nature and animal, architecture. Always trying not to have humans in my pictures. Never really wanted to carry something to heavy with me, but I found now a really good compromise with the 6600.
Hope to get lot of tips and advice on how to make the best out of her

Welcome. I have been taking travel pictures for over 40 years and all my cameras were well under $1000 with 3 lenses until 3 years ago. I still have nice memories with crabby pictures to remember.

Welcome Sara! I also like traveling and I considered the a6600 earlier this year, although I went for the a7C in the end. I think both are very good options for those who want a powerful yet light camera. Enjoy it! Looking forward to see some of your pictures.
