Sharp insect photo help

I've got an A7iii and just recently the 90mm macro lens, and have a tripod and flash. What other equipment is needed to take sharp insect photos please ?

You have everything you need.
You may want light modifiers, reflectors, etc- but you do not need them yet. You may want to be able to get your flash off your camera.
This is coming from a guy that has bought way too much equipment over the years- just go shoot. Post your best here if you want and you can get help. Once you figure out exactly what you what your images to look like, you can figure out what you need.
