Upcoming Eclipses solar filters

For the 200-600mm lens, what are the recommended filters for photographing the upcoming eclipses? On an A1.

I have never done it with a camera lens, I still have left over from my telescope days a Lunt solar telescope, which has a very intense filtered front element, to allow you to view without any retina damage.I might try and adapt a camera to it.

I don't think they are needed for the camera as much as they are needed for you. If shooting into the sun were an issue for the sensor my A7R would be trash by now considering the number of sunrise/sunsets I've photographed with it. Though it would be really cool to catch the ring of fire I think it would be better to have it as part of some greater image and also more unique.
