Walkie Talkie bulding

The so-called Walkie Talkie building on Fenchurch Street in the City of London is a 38-floor building by Rafael Viñoly with a public sky garden and rooftop restaurant. I took this shot from London Bridge Railway station. You can see all the people on the upper three floors enjoying the restaurant and roof garden. There is quite a view from up there, you can see practially all of London in each direction.

Yes, it is an odd looking building!

It takes a very determined architect to get that kind of building constructed. Looks great!

On completion it got a lot of stick from the public, but is now one of the most popular buildings in London. The roof gardens and resturant are very popular.
