A6700 to be announced July 12

I don't use that at all. Maybe once or twice for some low angles. But I do appreciate that I can twitch the screen towards the camera body, so it is protected from scratches while carrying the camera in my bag.
Getting down to your subject's own elevation is a good practice. Children, cars, flowers. When you get old, being able to tilt the screen up so you can hold the camera down by your waist without having to bend over or get in your knees/ass is a welcome feature!
