Sony A6000 Sony a6000 doing odd things!

I have a Sony a6000 love it and carry it with me all the time , but now it has become very temperamental sometimes works other times none of the controls work, f stop , iso ,nor can I operate the menu . I’ve tried taking in and out the battery , cleaning the contacts and resetting . Think it’s ok then no it stops! Has anyone had this happen, is there anything else I could try or is it a trip to repair shop ..or even time to upgrade?

Electronics don't last forever unfortunately. Heating up and cooling down, moisture etc will slowly affect it over years mate. If you got a good life out of it then it might be time to count your blessings and buy a replacement.
