Not really. The SR post said new line, not an update to an existing line. The A7c is clearly an existing line. First it's part of the A7 line, and second it's part of the c line. So it's part of an existing line within an existing line.

Not let's talk about the REAL issue: When will Sony discontinue the A7II?
