Sony A7R VI Battery Grip - VG-C6

The Sony A7R VI uses the larger Sony NP-SA100 batteries (2670 mAh), this means that the Sony VG-C4EM battery grip for the A7R V will not work.

The supported battery grip for the Sony A7R VI is the Sony VG-C6 Vertical / Battery Grip which will add an additional 290 g (10.2 oz) of weight to your camera body (excluding batteries).

Equipped with front and rear control dials plus a lock function, it ensures smooth, intuitive operation in both vertical and horizontal shooting orientations.

Optimised Dual Batteries

The VG-C6 Vertical Grip holds two NP-SA100 batteries. When using two batteries, the camera will operate for nearly twice as long as when using a single battery. Remaining battery time is shown on the camera display. Power and charging via the camera’s USB Type-C connector are supported.
