Sony Announces Unbelievably Light 400mm and 600mm G Master Lenses

Sony has announced two new G Master super telephoto prime lenses for the Alpha full-frame E-mount system, the FE 400MM F4.5 GM OSS with a focal length of 400 mm and the FE 600MM F6.3 GM OSS with a focal length of 600mm.

The FE 400MM F4.5 GM OSS weighs approximately 994g and the FE 600MM F6.3 GM OSS approximately 995g, achieving the world’s lightest design in their respective categories.

The FE 400MM F4.5 GM OSS will cost $2,698.00 and the FE 600MM F6.3 GM OSS $3,698.00. Both lenses are expected to start shipping around mid October.
