Sony a6400 + Sigma 30mm F1.4 Low Light Test

You are here: Home / Curated Content / Sony a6400 + Sigma 30mm F1.4 Low Light Test
Last updated: December 23, 2020 / Published: October 27, 2019 by Timothy Mayo - Leave a Comment

In the following video from Kenny Cardoso (Kardoso Media) shows just how well the Sony a6400 together with the Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN handles shooting video in low light.

The video is a compilation of low light footage that he has captured over the last 6 months.

All footage was shot in 1080p 120fps with ISO ranging from 100-800 at f1.4 and in picture profile PP1. No colour correction or colour grading done. He also says that you can expect even better results if filmed in 4k and in lower frame rates.

If you enjoyed this video then you might want to subscribe to Kenny’s YouTube Channel Kardoso Media. You can also follow Kenny on Instagram.

About Timothy Mayo

I started Alpha Shooters back in 2017 to share my own experiences as a photographer shooting with Sony Alpha cameras, lenses and accessories.

I enjoy wildlife photography the most but will happily point my camera at pretty much anything.

As well as this blog you’ll also find a community forum which provides members with a friendly and safe place to share images and ask questions.

You can find out more about my story here or follow me on Instagram if you wish.

I also have a YouTube Channel but haven’t published much content recently due to the demands of my two and four year old boys.
