Sony a6400 – What’s in the Box?

You are here: Home / Sony Alpha Mirrorless Cameras / Sony A6400 Guides & Resources / Sony a6400 – What’s in the Box?
Last updated: February 10, 2021 / Published: March 11, 2019 by Timothy Mayo

Curious about what’s in the box of the Sony a6400?

sony a6400 box contents

The body-only version of the Sony a6400 includes the following in the box:

  1. Start-up guide
  2. UK and EU power plugs + USB adapter (EU) or the AC-UUD12 adapter (US)
  3. Micro USB cable
  4. Sony NP-FW50 battery
  5. Eyecup
  6. Neck strap
  7. Body Lens Cap
  8. A6400 Body

If you have ordered the a6400 with a kit lens then you will either get the Sony E 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens or the Sony E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens in the box too. I’ve heard people saying that with the 16-50mm kit there is no body cap included which I find to be an odd omission.

There is no external charger in the box and no memory card.

Here’s a quick Sony a6400 unboxing video that I made:

About Timothy Mayo

I started Alpha Shooters back in 2017 to share my own experiences as a photographer shooting with Sony Alpha cameras, lenses and accessories.

I enjoy wildlife photography the most but will happily point my camera at pretty much anything.

As well as this blog you’ll also find a community forum which provides members with a friendly and safe place to share images and ask questions.

You can find out more about my story here or follow me on Instagram if you wish.

I also have a YouTube Channel but haven’t published much content recently due to the demands of my two and four year old boys.
