The Sony a7R V Raw (.ARW) files are now supported by the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic.
Minimum Versions Required
To open Sony a7R V raw files the following minimum versions are required:
- Adobe Camera Raw: v15.1 or higher
- Lightroom CC: v6.1 or higher
- Lightroom Classic: v12.1 or higher
If after updating you still can’t open the RAW files from the a7R V, check the Camera Raw / Lightroom version you have installed as it might still be an earlier version.
Camera Raw v15.1, Lightroom CC v6.1 and Classic v12.1 require macOS Big Sur (version 11) or later, or Windows 10 (version 20H2 or later) or Windows 11 (version 21H1 or later).
If you are not running these OS versions then you will not be able to update to the latest version and thus not open the a7R V .ARW files.

Lens correction profiles have also been added for the following E-mount lenses:
- Sony FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II
